If you are currently looking for a quality bluegrass musical program for your organization, club, or facility, we hope you will consider Timber Creek for your next entertainment program.
Timber Creek is a lively 4-piece acoustic string band that plays traditional and contemporary bluegrass music. Members of the band started jamming together many years ago for enjoyment and the entertainment of friends and family. In the fall of 2003, the group decided to begin playing at special events, private parties, nursing homes, and civic organizations for a reasonable fee based on time and location.
Recent engagements have included repeat performances at the Wichita Borders Books & Music stores, as well as for various festivals, clubs, organizations, events, etc. in Wichita, Kansas, including the Wichita River Festival, Mulvane Old Settler's Days, and for three consecutive years (2005 thru 2007) on stage at the Kansas Bluegrass Association's Winter Bluegrass Festival. The band also played a set on Stage 5 at the Walnut Valley Festival in September 2005.
The fee charged by Timber Creek varies depending on the length of the engagement, the day of the week, and the location. However, fees are very reasonable, and reduced rates are available for nursing/rehabilitation facilities and charitable/fundraising events.
Don't give a second thought about arranging a sound system for a Timber Creek performance. The high quality of sound in our performances is achieved and presented to the audience at a pleasant, balanced sound level using our own sound system, comprised of the best in quality sound system equipment available.
